Sharp Lighting

Barblight, from the Apocalypse series by IFSD
Barblight, from the Apocalypse series, is a hanging light made from an old roll of barbed wire that was sandblasted and painted here at Iron Fish Studio Designs. Not very suitable for children’s rooms or homes where the occupants tend to swing from fixtures. $225.

Iron Sculpture

Iron tabletop sculpture from the Steel on a Stick series

A tabletop sculpture from Iron Fish Studio Designs. Part of the Steel on a Stick series, it’s about 21 inches high. The bottom is lined with cork to keep from scratching the good furniture (or turning it into a lighting rod during thunderstorms). $175

Iron and Wood Coffee Table

Iron and Wood Coffee Table by IFSD
This coffee table features a rectangular outline in 3/4 inch square bar, with an outhouse door (vintage, hopefully) for the top. We’ve been making tables like this for a few years now. Similar but not-quite-as-nice-ones at ABC Home and Carpet were selling in the $1200-1800 range a while back. This one is $475.

Metal Sea Horse

5x7 notecard depicting a vintage metal playground seahorse. Printed with archival inks, blank inside, thumbnail of seahorse with spring base on back. $10 for three cards with envelopes

Many interesting objects have passed in and out of the Iron Fish over the past few years. Luckily I took a picture of this one for my Notecard series. Maybe I should change the name of the shop…

A Very Poplar Table

Poplar table with a metal base from Iron Fish Studio Designs $425

Nothing revolutionary here, but one of my favorites. The wood protruding off the base just slightly helps give it a nice, solid, clean look. Works well as both a table and a bench. $425
